<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimized production schedule when producing multiple kinds of products using processes commonly. <P>SOLUTION: A storage unit 16 is used to store: worker data 18 including the total number of workers N; process data 20 including required processing time and the required number of workers for each product and the available number of products to be processed simultaneously, with respect to each process; product data 22 including process order required to produce each product; and a list of products to be produced by a due date. Production schedule data generation means 36 generates production schedule data 28 through a step for allocating each product to each process in process order, a step for allocating required workers to each process and a step for arranging states of allocating products to all processes in chronological order. Optimization means 38 searches for the earliest final process finish time 30 through a step for selecting products in random order, a step for delivering data about the selected products to the production schedule data generation means 36, and a step for changing product selection order and worker allocation order.
