<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed housing medium which houses seeds of a plant in a base material, and has no seed housing defect due to jumping from the base material when filling the seeds. <P>SOLUTION: The seed housing medium 1 includes: the base material 2 provided with at least a seed housing unit; and a cover film 7 for covering the seed housing unit.
