<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device, by a simple configuration, capable of performing an attitude control of a pedal arm, typically in a frontal collision of a vehicle such as an automobile, in a mode with a little dependency on deformation accuracy of a bracket rotationally supporting the pedal arm. <P>SOLUTION: One end 54a of a control member 50 is pressed by a part 110 of a car body, in response thereto, a control member 50 moves, as a whole, in the forward direction relative to a bracket 10, and the other end 56a of the control member 50 moves so as to pull a pedal arm 20 in the forward direction such that the pedal arm 20 is rotated about a turning shaft C to move forward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
