摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical waveguide that suppresses a decrease in transmission loss, improves visibility of an alignment mark, and has superior productivity. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of manufacturing the optical waveguide. An underclad layer 1, a core 2, and an alignment mark 1a are formed on a surface of a metallic substrate 10. A molding tool M is prepared which has a recessed part 21 formed and also has an alignment mark 22 corresponding to the alignment mark 1a. When the metallic substrate 10 and molding tool M are positioned based upon the pair of corresponding alignment marks 1a, 22, irradiation with light from the side of the molding tool M is performed and the positioning is achieved using the irradiation light. An overclad layer 3 is formed in a state in which the core 2 is coated. The alignment mark 1a is formed using a photocurable composition which contains a polymerizable composition (A) having a (meth)acrylate group and a photo-radical polymerization initiator (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
