摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus which are capable of obtaining potential stability at a high electrification potential, preventing the occurrence of fogging, and stably maintaining high sensitivity, when an organic photoreceptor is repeatedly used by using the organic photoreceptor in which a charge generating layer comprises two layers having a PN junction. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes at least electrifying means, image exposure means, developing means, transfer means, and photo-charge eliminating means around the organic photoreceptor and repeatedly forms an image. In the image forming method, the organic photoreceptor is configured in such a manner that the charge generating layer and a charge transport layer are stacked on a conductive substrate in order and the charge generating layer has such a structure that a first charge generating layer containing an N-type charge-generating pigment and a second charge generating layer containing a P-type charge-generating pigment are stacked. The second charge generating layer has sensitivity, but the first charge generating layer does not have sensitivity in the image exposure of the image exposure means and both of the first charge generating layer and the second charge generating layer have sensitivity for the photo-charge eliminating light of the photo-charge eliminating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
