<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device supporting a driver to perform smooth parking by continuing displaying an image of a backside imaging camera at least during parking operation. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device loaded in a vehicle performs display on a display unit by receiving an image signal from a backside imaging camera which is loaded in the vehicle and takes a backside image of the vehicle when the vehicle is reversed. The navigation device comprises a control unit which starts display of an image taken by the backside imaging camera based on a received reverse gear signal when a current position of the vehicle is at a place registered beforehand, and continues displaying the image taken by the backside imaging camera even when determining that the gear was changed from the reverse to the others based on received signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
