<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of detecting aqueous solution remaining quantity without being influenced by the water quality of the aqueous solution. <P>SOLUTION: The mist generator has a water storing tank, an applying section for applying voltage by an electrode group, a detection section for detecting the voltage, and a control section for controlling the applying section and the detection section. The detection section has an electroconductive member detecting the voltage via liquid stored in the water storing tank. Further, the mist generator stores relative information showing a plurality of relations of the voltages detected by the electroconductive member and the liquid contact face of the electroconductive member every different electroconductivities in a recording medium. The control section calculates the electroconductivity of the liquid stored in the water storing tank using the electrode group. Further, the control section determines the above relation corresponding to the calculated electroconductivity from the relative information and calculates a liquid contacting area of the electroconductive member corresponding to the voltage detected by the electroconductive member using the above determined relation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
