<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a diffraction grating recording medium having a stereoscopic pattern presented. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional structure M as an original image of the stereoscopic pattern is set by setting a recording surface Sxy on an XY plane of an XYZ three-dimensional coordinate system, a projection surface Syz on a YZ plane, and a reference axis R on a Z axis. An array of many pixels is defined on the recording surface Sxy, and a reference point P(x, y, 0) is defined in the center of the individual pixels. A sample point Q(x, y, z) on a surface of the three-dimensional structure M which is right above the reference point P(x, y, 0) is found. A normal vector N is found at the position of the sample point Q, an angle ξ of intersection of a projection vector N<SP POS="POST">*</SP>obtained by projecting the normal vector N on the projection surface Syz and the reference axis R is found, and an azimuth angle θ satisfying θ=ξ/2 is defined. A pixel pattern having a diffraction grating formed by arranging grating lines directed at the azimuth angle θ to an X axis is allocated to a pixel positioned at the reference point P. Diffraction grating corresponding to many pixel patterns allocated on the recording surface Sxy are formed on a physical recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
