<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus configured to prevent an image that is not a line from being mistakenly determined to be a line. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: line information reception means for receiving a set of information that is information on an image having a possibility of being a line and indicates a line element being a rectangular pixel lump that can constitute a line; prediction determination means for determining whether a target line element matches a predicted value of a line element in a case where it is predicted that the line element constitutes a line at the position of the line element on the basis of information indicating a line element, the information received by the line information reception means; feature amount calculation means for calculating a feature amount of the image related to a case where the target line element is determined to not match the predicted value by the prediction determination means; line determination means for determining whether the image is a line on the basis of the feature amount calculated by the feature amount calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
