<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily washable absorbent article that does not diffuse the stain of menstrual blood etc., in the absorbent article beyond necessity by improving washing efficiency and also effectively restricts an absorbent body base material from tearing and coming out, in view of a peculiar problem when washing a sanitary napkin. <P>SOLUTION: The vertically long absorbent article includes: a front surface sheet to be arranged on a skin abutment side; a rear surface sheet to be arranged on a skin non-abutment side; and an absorbent body held between both the sheets. The absorbent article has joint parts in the peripheral edge areas of the absorbent article, where the front surface sheet is joined with the rear surface sheet without holding the absorbent body between both the sheets. Recession/projection shapes in a plane view are continuously formed in the joint parts at least in the peripheral edge areas at the longitudinally front and rear ends of the absorbent article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
