METHOD FOR PRODUCING BUTADIENE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for restoring, in the presence of oxygen, the performance of a catalyst whose performance has been deteriorated due to organic matter deposition thereon or reduction thereof or both of them, in producing butadiene from n-butene using the catalyst.

SOLUTION: The method for reclaiming a butadiene production catalyst used in reaction for producing butadiene from n-butene in the presence of a gaseous oxygen in a fluidized bed reaction vessel in which there are the oxygen and the catalyst having a carrier carrying an oxide comprises the step of putting the oxygen concentration of an exit gas at 0.1 vol.% or higher at 280-550°C in reclaiming the catalyst used.
