<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy load purpose pneumatic tire capable of suppressing generation of a crack on the bottom of a groove and breaking away of a tread while suppressing noises and vehicle vibrations during running and capable of attaining an excellent abrasion life. <P>SOLUTION: The tread of the tire is provided with a plurality of circumferential grooves 20 that are extended in the circumferential direction of the tread and each have a depth D from the surface of the tread of 35 mm or more. A bottom 21 in the cross section in the tire width direction has an arc shape, and a curvature radius of the inside part 21a in the width direction at the time when the bottom 21 is divided into an inside (arrow I) and an outside (arrow O) in the wire width direction of the tire, with the center C of an opening part of the circumferential groove being set as a boundary, is larger than a curvature radius of an arc of the outside part 21b in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
