<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of easily restricting chatter vibration and capable of improving an yield even if an inexperienced worker. <P>SOLUTION: In the machine tool where a predetermined parameter is changed when the chatter vibration is generated and the rotating speed of a main spindle 2 is changed at an amplitude Q in a cycle R corresponding to values of the parameter after the change, a parameter control section 11 displays information related to the parameter in a display means 9.
