<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna built-in electronic timepiece which can ensure high reception performance and has a sufficient thin shape while having a structure in which a pointer shaft penetrates an antenna. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna built-in electronic timepiece 100 comprises: a pointer shaft 12; a pointer 13; a driving mechanism 30 for driving the pointer 13 by rotating the pointer shaft 12; a patch antenna 20 having an antenna substrate 21, a dielectric 22 on the antenna substrate 21, and a radiation electrode 23 on the dielectric 22; and a GPS receiving unit 26 for receiving a satellite signal by using the patch antenna 20. The patch antenna 20 has a recessed portion 10a on a lower side, and a peripheral edge portion which is not made to be thin by the recessed portion 10a is thicker than a center portion which is made to be thin by the recessed portion 10a. The pointer shaft 12 penetrates the center portion of the patch antenna 20. A part of the driving mechanism 30 is positioned inside the recessed portion 10a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
