<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window glass lifting and lowering system that enables the ascent and descent of window glass, provided in a vehicle, to be adjusted by an occupant's intuitive operation. <P>SOLUTION: A window glass lifting and lowering system includes a window regulator for lifting and lowering window glass provided in a vehicle, an operating device for operating the ascent and descent of the window regulator, and an arithmetic control unit for controlling the ascent and descent of the window regulator by computing an operation of the operating device.
