<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light radiation device and a light radiation method capable of surely forming a stripe pattern having intended optical anisotropy. <P>SOLUTION: A light radiation device includes: plural polarized light radiation parts for radiating polarized light in one direction under mutually different conditions; and a mask that is formed by alternately arranging, in the one direction in parallel, many linear light shielding parts and many linear light transmission parts extending in a direction perpendicular to the one direction, and that has plural types of mask patterns each corresponding to each of the polarized light radiation parts. Each of the polarized light radiation parts includes a light emission part, and a polarization element placed on an optical path between the light emission part and the mask. The mask is positioned in a state where the light transmission parts in one of the mask patterns corresponding to one of the polarized light radiation parts are arranged in a manner complementary to the light shielding parts in the mask patterns corresponding to another of the polarized light radiation parts in a direction for conveying an object to be irradiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
