<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device that arranges a covering material in an accurate position relative to a setting part, in assembling the setting part and a body that accommodates irradiating means and includes the detachable covering material. <P>SOLUTION: A window cover (covering material) 288 and a lower unit (setting part) 250 are provided with positioning holes 464, 452 in common that are positioned with a common positioning pin 454 provided to a lamp housing (body) 284.
