<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized low cost imaging apparatus which has sufficient base length for producing an effective stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a first folded optical system, a second folded optical system, and an optical path combining element which combines optical axes of the first folded optical system and the second folded optical system into one so that light flux from a single object forms an image on a single imaging device through the first optical system and the second optical system. The first folded optical system and the second folded optical system are composed of a plurality of lense groups, respectively. A first reflection optical element for a first optical path folding is arranged in the lens group most adjacent to the object, while a second reflection optical element for a second optical path folding is arranged between the lens group most adjacent to the image and the imaging device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
