<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal head capable of changing three leg bodies of a tripod in a desired state. <P>SOLUTION: A universal head 20 includes a universal head body 25 having a notch 23. The universal head body 25 includes a first operation body 26, a second operation body 27, and a support body 28. The support body 28 includes: a ball section 31 held by the universal head body 25, a support section 32 on which a camera is mounted, and a connecting section 33 for connecting the ball section 31 and the support section 32.
