<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent problems such as falling off and breakage of a rust prevention cover due to ambient temperature change, and to facilitate attaching work of the rust prevention cover and the like of the rust prevention cover, as the rust prevention cover for preventing a disc brake of an automobile from rusting. <P>SOLUTION: As the rust prevention cover 1 covering the outside of a wheel W, a flange part 3 bending inside is formed at the outer peripheral part of a disk-shaped cover surface 2, and a recess 4 and opening 5 are formed at a predetermined point of the cover surface 2 to insert the stem part v<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of an air valve v into the opening 5. Engaging claws 7 sticking out toward the rear side are provided at three points in total, namely a point opposite to the opening 5 on the peripheral edge part of the rear side of the cover surface 2, and at points shifted in phases by 90 degrees from the above point on the peripheral edge part of the rear side of the cover surface 2.
