<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately setting the amount of a conductive paste for filling. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 51 includes a first substrate 1, a ground electrode 2 formed on a surface of the first substrate 1, a second substrate 3 provided to face the first substrate 1, and a conductive layer 4 formed on a surface of the second substrate 3 that is opposite to the first substrate 1 side. A depression 7 for housing the ground electrode 2 is provided for an end of the second substrate 3 in a plan view.
