<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester fiber cord for reinforcing rubber, especially one suitable for a cap ply cord of radial tires, having an improved heat-resistant adhesion between polyester fiber and rubber and an improved heat-resistant mechanical strength retention when it is exposed to elevated temperatures, which have not been able to be achieved by conventional techniques. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester fiber cord for reinforcing rubber prepared by treating a polyester fiber with a treating liquid A including an epoxy compound, an ethylenically unsaturated acid-modified styrene-butadiene rubber latex and a chelating agent and then treating the treated polyester fiber with a treating liquid B including a resorcinol-formaldehyde precondensate and a rubber latex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
