摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control device for a piston reciprocating internal combustion engine, especially a gas engine and especially capable of economical operation. <P>SOLUTION: Separate valves 278, 272 driven by motors 282, 284 are arranged in the nearest upstream of an intake valve in an air supply passage 14. The separate valve has a valve body 274 provided with a shaft part 276 driven by the motor and at least two closed bodies 278 fixed and joined to the shaft part. The shaft part is vertically penetrating the air supply passage and is slidable in the vertical direction by the motor. The closed body is formed as a disc surrounding the shaft part and is abuttable with a valve hole 272 of a partition wall formed in a meandering shape as viewed in the intake passage interception face. A controller is provided and configured to control the motor so that the closing time point is shifted to be earlier than the closing time of the intake valve as a power requirement is decreasing in correlation with at least a power requirement element by the controller.
