PURPOSE: A chip discharging device for a machine tool is provided to prevent mixing of chips in cutting oil because crack-type small cut chips generated in a machining tool is smoothly separated from the cutting oil. CONSTITUTION: A chip discharging device for a machine tool comprises a separation tank(40) and second transferring pipe(50). The separation tank is arranged under a discharge port(23) of a first transferring pipe(20). The upper one side of a guide unit(42) is opened and the cutting oil(W) flows into a inflow unit(32). The second transferring pipe comprises an opening portion(51) in one side, discharging portion(54) in the other side, and a screw(52). The opening portion is inserted into inside of the separation tank and the discharging portion is obliquely installed in the outside of the separation tank. The screw is rotated by an upper drive motor(53) and separates and discharges chips through the discharging portion by pulling up the chips of the opening portion.
