<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems that it is hard to open the existing stay-on tab for a person with weak power or a short-nailed person, and in addition a content pops out as a reaction in opening a lid. <P>SOLUTION: Since a rivet 15 functioning as the rotating shaft of a lid opening lever 16 is angled, the lid opening lever 16 does not protrude beyond the upper end of a can when the lid is not opened, and the lid opening lever protrudes beyond the upper end of the can when the lid is opened. Therefore, force is easily applied. Further, a distance from the rivet 15 to an end 20 on the side of a long side is made longer by shifting the rotating shaft from a can lid center point 2 and the lid opening lever 16 is rotated by the rotating shaft and pushed to an opening 7. Thereby, the lid is easily opened on the principle of leverage.
