<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of suppressing a difference in height in a bent portion even when an ink tube is bent by scanning by a printing head in a main scanning direction. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: a carriage 31 having the printing head 34 and a sub-tank 35; ink storage parts 55 located on the upper side of the carriage 31; a first guide means 32 located below the carriage 31 and guiding sliding of the carriage 31 along the main scanning direction; a second guide means 33 located above the carriage 31 and guiding sliding of the carriage 31 along the main scanning direction; and the flexible ink tube 60 having a flow passage with one end communicated with the ink storage parts 55 and the other end communicated with the sub-tank 35 and supplying ink from the ink storage parts 55 toward the sub-tank 35. The ink tube 60 includes a horizontal extending part 61.
