<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a dried pressed flower picture which enables a dried pressed flower to be manufactured by simple procedures, using fresh flowers and also, a dried pressed flower picture looking vivid due to the dried pressed flower as a material. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a dried pressed flower picture includes: a drying promotion process to make the internal moisture of collected flowers 1 ooze out; an arrangement process to arrange the moisture-free flower 1 picturesquely on a pasteboard colored by rubbing a pigment 11 into the surface; a sealing process to insert a pasteboard with flowers into a damp-proof membrane such as transparent rigid sheet 13 or aluminum foil 14, together with a desiccant 15 and a deoxidizer 16, and further, bond and seal the circumferential edge of the damp-proof membrane, and a drying process to dry the half-dry flower 1 sealed by the sealing process, in a non-oxygen state. Besides, the pasteboard includes a plurality of cushioning materials obtained by making paper fibers airborne and pressurizing them into a plate-like form, and a narrow strip of cloth around which the cushioning material is wound.
