<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain riding comfort and enhance uniformity of the tread gauge. <P>SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has a carcass layer 6 extending to a bead core 51 with a plurality of reinforcement cords being arranged in the circumferential direction of a tire and both ends in the tire width direction being positioned in both bead portions 5, and at least one belt layer 7 provided in the outside of the carcass layer 6 along a tire radial direction in a tread portion 2. In the inside of the tire width direction end portion of the belt layer in the tire width direction and in the range W2 from 5[%] to 95[%] of the maximum size W1 of the belt layer 7 in the tire width direction, a carcass strength coefficient K of the carcass layer 6, which is defined as follows: [carcass strength coefficient K[N/mm/kPa]]=[reinforcement cord setting number [number/mm]]×[reinforcement cord power [N/number]]×[the layer number of carcass layers]÷[maximum air pressure[kPa]], is specified from 0[N/mm/kPa] to 0.15 [N/mm/kPa]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
