PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive colorant dispersion resin composition for color filters, which can obtain a photosensitive layer with high sensitivity, high color purity and high light shielding effect and is excellent in adhesion in development and a pattern shape.

SOLUTION: A composition includes a hyperbranched polymer formed by adding a polymercapto compound to a carbon-carbon double bond on a β-position with respect to a carbonyl group in a group expressed by the following general formula (1), and a colorant.
