<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system that allows a user to more readily and comfortably enjoy an application using AR technology. <P>SOLUTION: A portable image display device includes a touch panel, a stereoscopic display device that enables a stereoscopic view by the naked eye, a first imaging unit, and a second imaging unit. The portable image display device detects a marker from a real world image taken by at least one of the first imaging unit and the second imaging unit, and determines a relative position between a virtual object and a pair of virtual cameras (a first virtual camera and a second virtual camera) in a virtual space on the basis of the detection result. Then, the portable image display device combines the real world image taken by the first imaging unit and the second imaging unit with a virtual space image drawn on the basis of the first virtual camera and the second virtual camera to display an image stereoscopically viewed by the naked eye on the stereoscopic display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
