PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source module with a small volume and small production cost which can provide a plane light source with excellent evenness.

SOLUTION: The surface light source module 100 includes: a light-incident surface S1 with a light-incident curved surface 112 connected to a light-emitting face as well as to a bottom face; a light guide plate with the bottom face and with the light-emitting face arranged in opposition to the bottom face; a flexible circuit board 120 arranged along the light-incident curved surface of the light guide plate; and light-emitting elements 130, arranged at the flexible circuit board, each with a light-emitting surface 132 opposed to the light-incident curved surface.
