<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device capable of enhancing heat radiation performance and reducing the cost while retaining structural strength and an image displaying device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A heat radiating member 4 has a first board-shaped part that opposes, behind a light guiding member 22, a light emission face and a second board-shaped part that opposes, orthogonally to the first board-shaped part, a light incidence face; in the heat radiating member 4, the second board-shaped part is formed by bending an end of the first board-shaped part; a heat conducting member 5 has a third board-shaped part in contact with the face of the first board-shaped part opposing the light emission face and a fourth board-shaped part in contact with the face of the second board-shaped part opposing the light incidence face; and a light source 6 is arranged toward the light incidence face on the face of the second board-shaped part opposing the light incidence face of the second board-shaped part via the fourth board-shaped part, which is formed by bending to adjoin the third board-shaped part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
