<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the total capacity of a Y capacitor in a power supply system for supplying electric power to a plurality of loading devices. <P>SOLUTION: A capacity calculation apparatus is connected to a power supply system for supplying electric power to a loading device group by branching a feeder line, is allowed to calculate the total capacity of the loading device group in the capacity of a capacitor connected among a positive pole line, a negative pole line and a ground in the loading devices, and notifies the calculated total capacity to the exterior. The apparatus includes: an AC power supply part including an AC power supply and a resistor connected to the AC power supply in series, connecting one end to the positive pole line or the negative pole line on the power supply side from a position where the feeder line is branched and connecting the other end to the ground; a voltage value detection part for detecting a voltage value between both ends of the resistor; a control part for outputting a current from the AC power supply by a predetermined voltage value while changing frequencies and calculating the total capacity by using a frequency obtained when the ratio of the detected voltage value to the predetermined voltage value becomes a predetermined value and the resistance value of the resistor; and an output part for outputting the calculated total capacity to notify the value to the exterior. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
