<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machine in which the slack of a feeder connected to an electrode is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The electric discharge machine performs work with electric discharge generated by applying voltage between a workpiece and the electrode. It includes a moving part 24 for moving together with the electrode during work, the feeder 26 having one end connected to a fixed portion 16a of the electric discharge machine and the other end connected to the electrode for feeding, a first elastic member 30 having one end connected to the fixed portion of the electric discharge machine and the other end connected to an intermediate portion 80c of the feeder, and a second elastic member 32 having one end connected to the moving part 24 and the other end connected to the intermediate portion 80c of the feeder 26.
