<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor capable of reducing current consumption in magnetic field weakening control while increasing improvement effects on performance for one of regeneration and power running and maintaining torque performance for the regeneration or power running. <P>SOLUTION: In an IPM motor 1<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, an N-pole main magnet 22N and an S-pole main magnet 22S whose magnetization directions are substantially equivalent to radiation directions Ra and Rb from the center of a rotor 20 respectively, and an N-pole auxiliary magnet 23N and an S-pole auxiliary magnet 23S assisting a magnetic force of those main magnets respectively, are buried in a magnet arrangement part 21b formed between a plurality of salient pole parts 21a of the rotor 20. The salient pole part 21a, the N-pole main magnet 22N or the S-pole main magnet 22S, and the N-pole auxiliary magnet 23N or the S-pole auxiliary magnet 23S are arranged in this order toward one side in a circumferential direction. Due to a structure having magnetic flux asymmetry a lot, current consumption in magnetic field weakening control can be reduced since a magnet torque becomes small while maintaining torque performance for one of regeneration and power running. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
