<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image scanner unit capable of performing cleaning of a reading surface automatically. <P>SOLUTION: A printing head 9 and a carriage 10, which mounts the printing head 9, are arranged at the back of a double-sided scanner 8 of a check processing device 1. An automatic winding mechanism 15 configured to wind a cleaning cloth 12 is arranged at the front of the double-sided scanner 8. The cleaning cloth 12 is coupled to the carriage 10 via an upper-end supporting cable 14a and a lower-end supporting cable 14b. When the carriage 10 moves toward the side of a home position P2, the cleaning cloth 12 is pulled toward the double-sided scanner 8 in conjunction therewith, and passes through a reading surface 11 of each of a plurality of image scanner units. Thereby, the reading surface 11 is cleaned. When the carriage 10 moves toward a printing position P1, the cleaning cloth 12 moves forward and is wound by the automatic winding mechanism 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
