摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacity of a work memory to be used for control when the state of a game machine is abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: The current state of a game machine 100 is determined by used of the states set in game state point tables 400 and 500. The points corresponding to the determined states are read from the game state point tables 400 and 500. The state of the game machine 100 is converted into a numerical value by applying the read numerical values to a control content determination table 600. Then, by referring to the value of the most significant digit of at least 10,000 in the control content determination table 600, whether the state of the game machine 100 is abnormal or not and the content of the abnormal state of the game machine 100 are determined.
