<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of easily carrying out light output control independent for each light source without needing any complicated external signal control, and to provide a lighting fixture using the lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes one or a plurality of light sources 1, a lighting device 2 supplying power necessary for lighting up the light sources 1, and one or a plurality of connection terminals fitted to each light source 1 and each lighting device 2 for electrically connecting each other. Either the light source 1 or the lighting device 2 has a plurality of pairs of connection terminals, and a plurality of power-feeding routes are provided between the light source 1 and the lighting device 2 for supplying power to the light source 1.
