<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile improvement of detection accuracy of a particulate substance detector and disconnection detection. <P>SOLUTION: A particulate substance detection element 10 is equipped with a capacitance component 13 arranged in parallel with a detection resistor R<SB POS="POST">SEN</SB>, a detection circuit part 20 is equipped with: a DC power supply 21 which supplies DC current I<SB POS="POST">DC</SB>to the particulate substance detection element 10; an AC power supply 22 which supplies AC current I<SB POS="POST">AC</SB>with a predetermined frequency f and amplitude to the particulate substance detection element 10; a DC detection part 23 which detects the DC current I<SB POS="POST">DC</SB>flowing to the particulate substance detection element 10; and an AC detection part 24 which detects the AC current I<SB POS="POST">AC</SB>, the capacitance component 13 is formed by a pair of parallel flat plate conductors 130, 140 with predetermined area S made to face each other by sandwiching insulation ceramics with predetermined film thickness d and a predetermined dielectric constant εr as a dielectric layer 150, the capacitance component 13 serially connects between a pair of detection electrodes 110, 120 at a state that a particulate substance is not accumulated between the detection electrodes 110, 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
