<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box formed of corrugated cardboard for packing an article having a nearly L-shaped cross section which is configured to obtain high strength to withstand a load while inhibiting an increase in the material cost of a load receiving body formed in the shape of a parallel cross. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging box formed of the corrugated cardboard for packing the article 10 having the nearly L-shaped cross section includes: a case 1 comprising a bottom plate 1a, surrounding side plates 1b, 1c, 1d and 1e, and a cover plate 1f; and the load receiving body 2 constituted by arranging vertical beam material 2a and horizontal beam material 2b in the shape of the parallel cross. The load receiving body 2 is disposed between the horizontal part 10a of the article 10 accommodated in the case 1 and the cover plate 1f or the bottom plate 1a of the case 1, and space 4 is present between the load receiving body 2 and the side plates 1c and 1d at both ends in the length direction of the case 1.
