<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber-crosslinked molding for a golf ball further enhancing the flexibility in hardness design of hardness distribution to the inside from the surface of a core. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber-crosslinked molding for the golf ball is obtained by impregnating a rubber-crosslinked molding containing a metal oxide, with a monomer containing an acid radical such as acrylic acid, in predetermined conditions to cause either one or both chemical reactions of: (i) the chemical reaction of the monomer and rubber and/or its compounding substance; and (ii) the chemical reaction of the monomer itself. The impregnation depth of the monomer is 0.3 mm or more, and the surface hardness after impregnation is higher by 7.4-63.3 in JIS-C hardness than before impregnation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
