<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a transmission unit which can improve communication speed of communication using superposition signal. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission signal repeatedly transmitted to a transmission channel 2 by a signal transmitting/receiving section 10 is divided into a plurality of periods in a time axis direction for each frame. A part of the periods is a possible period of superposition in which superposition signals can be superposed, and the other parts of the periods is a disabled period of superposition in which the superposition signal cannot be superposed. A transmission unit 1 comprises a signal adjustment section 11 which changes the rate of the possible period of superposition to one frame of the transmission signal. The signal adjustment section 11 adjusts the rate of the possible period of superposition according to transmission state of the superposition signal that is transmitted/received between second communication terminals 4. In particular, the signal adjustment section 11 adjusts the rate of the possible period of superposition in such a manner that the greater the amount of the transmission data using the superposition signal between the second communication terminals 4, the larger the rate of the possible period of superposition to one frame of the transmission signal is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
