<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overlay welding material as a welding material for an overlay welding metal to be used under a corrosive environment with acid, in which the corrosion resistance and the abrasion resistance of the overlay welding metal are excellent, and any crack generation is prevented; and to provide a mechanical component with the overlay welding metal welded thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The overlay welding material contains, by mass, 0.2-1.5% of C, 0.5-2.0% of Si, 0.5-2.0% of Mn, 20-40% of Cr, 2.0-6.0% of Mo, 0.5-6.0% of Ni, 1.0-5.0% of V and 0.5-5.0% of W, with the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. When the overlay welding material is used for the overlay welding of a mechanical component with steel being its main material, and subjected to the forging, rolling or hot working, the overlay welding material preferably has a composition in which the contents of P and S are regulated to be P:≤0.03%, and S:≤0.02%, and may contain impurities so long as the soundness of the overlay welding metal is not impaired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
