<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document reading device corresponding to the moving work of the document reading device by several persons, and capable of preventing a malfunction caused by the moving work. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine 1 has a body housing 10 including a side cover 30 configuring both right and left side surfaces, and a scanner unit 25 arranged on an upper part of the body housing 10. The side cover 30 has projecting portions 41 made by projecting an upper part above a predetermined position under the scanner unit 25 which is an upper part of the multifunctional machine 1 out to the outside direction (a left direction or a right direction) of the multifunctional machine 1. On a lower surface side of each projecting portion 41, a first handle portion 51 is formed. The first handle portion 51 is formed in an upwardly recessed box shape with longitudinal dimensions corresponding to a main scanning range Rm in a reading range R of the scanner unit 25, and has a first rib 51A and a second rib 51B continuing in a longitudinal direction therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
