<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly set a medium in a prescribed position. <P>SOLUTION: In a reader 1, a guide 5 is arranged in a pedestal 2 by detaching it in a second direction orthogonal with a first direction from an original point O, and guides a vertex V of a medium M moving in a direction opposite to the first direction to the original point O. The medium M which rotates with an abutting point P with a guide 4 as a fulcrum and whose vertex V moves to the original point O is separated from the pedestal 2, and the vertex V climbs over the guide 5. A guide 6 is arranged on the pedestal 2 by detaching it from the guide 5 in the second direction from the original point O, abuts on the rotating medium M whose vertex V climbs over the guide 5, and guides the vertex V of the medium M to the original point O. Even if a long side and a short side of the medium M are caught in the guides 4 and 6 when the medium M moves to a reading region, the medium M is rotated from the vertex V of the medium M to the original point O with an abutting point as the fulcrum to set the medium M in the reading region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
