ELASTIC WAVE DEVICE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELASTIC WAVE DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DUPLEXER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing the cost of development and manufacturing of an elastic wave device and improving flexibility for designing the elastic wave device.

SOLUTION: A filter circuit uses an elastic wave device in which SAW resonators 11-16 and a signal path 2 are formed on the same substrate. Although the specification for a central frequency of a passing band determined by the SAW resonators 11-16 is limited, the specification required for the capability of a blocking area which is determined by design of the signal path 2 varies. The SAW resonators 11-16 in which a precision photomask of high cost is required for formation and condition of a material, film thickness or the like is limited, are formed in a step that is different from a step for forming the signal path 2 in which the limitation in pattern formation is more gentle than the SAW resonators.
