<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which enables global-shutter photographing having no contrast within a screen, without using a mechanical shutter. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device comprising an imaging element capable of reading image signals for one frame obtained by photoelectric conversion is provided with: light emission means capable of varying light distribution characteristics; and light distribution control means which controls light distribution by the light emission means in accordance with the contrast within the screen occurring when reading the image signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
