IMAGING APPARATUS, IMAGING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an appropriate imaging operation by matching imaging timing with light emitting timing of a light emitting device.

SOLUTION: A light emitting part 140 is an LED for emitting light to a subject. An image sensor 220 is a CMOS sensor for imaging the subject and generating image data. A mechanical shutter 270 blocks incident light from the subject. A control part 115 determines the timing of the exposure period of the image data generated corresponding to the shutter operation on the basis of the delay time (the delay time of the light emitting part 140) held in a light emitting part delay time holding part 116. Also, the control part 115 makes the exposure of the image data be started by a global shutter by the image sensor 220 and makes the exposure be ended by closing the mechanical shutter 270 on the basis of the determined timing of the exposure period. Also, the control part 115 makes the light emitting part 140 emit the light on the basis of the shutter operation.
