<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light alloy wheel superior in rigidity in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. <P>SOLUTION: This rim flange of the light alloy wheel includes an outer peripheral rim flange extending outside in the radial direction and an inner peripheral rim flange extending inside, and is characterized by constituting the inner peripheral rim flange of a projection part of extending in the oblique direction to the outside from the rim center. An angle of the projection part extending in the oblique inner direction is set in a range of 30-60° to a reference line parallel to a wheel rotary shaft, and the most excellent drag is indicated in a range of 30-75° in the direction of applying force when set in 45°.
