<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration device that can successfully dehydrate a water-contained object in a simple work by continuously draining and press-dewatering the water-contained object. <P>SOLUTION: The dehydration device 1 includes: a bag body 2 having permeability, and for storing sludge S therein; and a basket body 3 having an inner space coinciding with the shape of the bag body 2, and for reliably discharging water to the outside without being left therein. The dehydration device 1 is configured to dehydrate the sludge S thrown in the bag body 2 while the bag body 2 is hung inside the basket body 3 such that the outer surface of the bag body 2 and the inner surface of the basket body 3 contact with each other when draining the sludge S, so that the shape of the bag body 2 remains unchanged. The bag body 2 includes: a partitioning part 40 that is formed such that the surface of the bag body 2 is hollowed inward so that a space 41 communicating with the outside is provided, and a retaining part 50 for retaining, when draining the sludge S, the shape of the partitioning part 40 by supporting the partitioning part 40 and applying tension thereto.
